South Pond Pavilion Arch
Located along the nature boardwalk near the Lincoln Park Zoo, the South Pond Pavillion was inspired by tortoises that inhabit the nearby pond. This curvaceous structure made of bent wood and fiberglass is an architectural statement. Focusing on the open end of the arch, this image was taken in the morning. It was fascinating to see how the color of light hitting the fiberglass pods changed as the sun made its way up into the sky. Focusing on the opening arch of the pavilion allows the viewer to see the intricate pattern the wood and pods make.

This way you can frame my artwork to your tastes!A 1” white border frames the photo prints which makes the print easier to handle and provides for self-matting or a faux matted look. Acrylic prints are full bleed (printed edge to edge), fine art prints printed on vivid surface paper that is then face-mounted to 1/8” non-glare plexiglass with polished edges.

Please allow two to three weeks for processing, printing, and delivery. This includes 2-8 business days for the fine art print to be made, inspected, packaged, then shipped to you. I can't alter the production timeline but if you would like the print sooner than the estimated delivery date, faster shipping options are available upon request for an additional fee. Just send me an email!
Prints are carefully and securely packaged in sturdy packaging for safe transport.
Standard ground shipping to the contiguous US is included at no additional cost for prints listed but sales tax is not.
For orders to Alaska and Hawaii, please contact me at printshop@matakphotography.com.
At this time only domestic orders are being taken.
You will receive an email when your order is placed and another upon shipment. The shipment email will include the package tracking number.
Shipping Damage
We do our utmost to ensure that your prints are packaged carefully and arrive safely at their destination. If your items arrived damaged, please keep all packaging and contents and contact me at printshop@matakphotography.com with your order number for further instructions. Please include photos showing the problem on the product as well as the shipping packaging. We will do whatever we can to get a replacement out the door as soon as possible.

Each order is a custom work of art printed just for you. As such, I do not accept returns or exchanges. However, I stand behind the craftsmanship, and are committed to making sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
Cancellations
I accept cancellation within 2 hours of placing your order. After that time, I cannot cancel your order, only offer a partial refund.
